Works: Naming, visual identity, packaging design
The context: The main competitor took over almost the whole retail sugar market having a few active brands that compete between them.
The challenge: Create a brand that would totally stand out and overshadow competitors.
The idea: We’ve created a brand based on a character with a strong and credible legend, simple and intuitive name, which would be intuitively associated with the category name (Moș Zaharia / Zahăr). The packaging design and the unique visual identity made the product amazingly notable on the store shelves.
Did it Move? The product recorded surprisingly high sales even before starting any media activity.
